Day trip from Fez to the Middle Atlas. Embark on this dazzling Middle Atlas and find the Berber-populated Middle Atlas region (Ifrane, Immouzer, and Azrou). Afterward, you will have the opportunity to meditate on the awe-inspiring panoramic views of the Mountains of the Middle Atlas, cedar woods, lake, and Berber towns.
In the early morning, our professional driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Fes and start driving towards the spectacular Middle Atlas Mountains in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle.
We will be first crossing the small town of Immouzer to enjoy its marvelous green environment and fresh air. Then, we will continue to the wonderful Lake Daït Aoua as you admire its magnificent surrounding hills beautifully reflected in the water. You may also try the pedal boat to discover the lake and the surroundings more closely.
Next, we will be moving forward to Ifrane‘s “Little Switzerland”. The town is also famous for its ski resort “Michlifen”. We will be also in Azrou, an authentic and very traditional Berber village where people still live in caves and use the most simple way of life. Also, we will wander through the mesmerizing Cedar Forest (the largest one in Morocco). As we have a short walk and see Barbary monkeys and feed them.
On your Day trip to the Middle Atlas. You will be having a tempting Berber Tagine in a traditional restaurant for lunch. After that, you have time for shopping to get the most fascinating handicrafts and handmade souvenirs.
