Full 6 days desert trip from Marrakech to Merzouga
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades gorges:
In the morning, leave Marrakech and drive to the Dades Gorges via Tizi and Tichika (2,260 meters above sea level), the highest peak on the road through the High Atlas Mountains. From here you will enjoy breathtaking views and Berber villages.
After lunch, you will visit the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a beautiful place where more than 20 Hollywood movies have been filmed. then continue to the Valley of Roses (El Kelaa M’Gouna), through Ouarzazate, passing thousands of kasbahs before reaching the Dades Valley. You will spend the night in a Dades Valley hotel and enjoy a Moroccan dinner.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga:
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the Todra Gorge, a narrow gorge with vertical walls of more than 300 meters, located in a valley full of palm trees and Berber villages.
After lunch, we will go to a small town called Merzouga, where you will have a great tour by camel, while you can admire the sea of golden sand dunes of the Erg Chebbi.
Arriving at the camp, where you will be able to enjoy the stunning blue sky with thousand stars that offer you an amazing view. There you will be able to enjoy Berber music around a campfire and sleep under a traditional nomadic tent made of camel wool. We will have dinner at the camp.
Day 3: Erg Chebbi Tour and Sahara Activities:
After breakfast, you will venture into the charismatic region. You will have the opportunity to share tea with the nomad family and visit the black desert to explore its fossils. Before we drive to Khamlia for enjoying their typical Gnaoua music.
After we will stop for lunch and have the opportunity to taste a delicious Berber pizza. Then we will go back to the Hotel, where you will rest at the swimming pool. After your relaxing break, you will prepare yourself to start your Morocco Desert Tour with the ATV or QUAD into the heart of the dunes, where you spend your magical sunset over the dunes.
Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Valley Of The Draa – Ouarzazate:
In the morning, After the spectacular sunrise, we will have breakfast at the camp. Then we drive to Rissani to visit the market of Tafilalet. On the way, we stop to admire the scenery, take photos and see the palm groves. We will also visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and the local market of Rissani to enjoy the traditional market.
Then we will go toward Ouarzazate through Alnif, Tazarine, Draa Valley, and Agdez, and stop at Ouarzazate where we will take pictures of the Kasbah of Tourist. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech
In the morning we depart from Ouarzazate to Marrakech, passing through the mountain on Tizi-n-Tichka pass and stopping to admire the sceneries and take pictures.
Day 6: Transfer to the Airport
We transfer you to Menara airport according to your flight.
