Tour Plan

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades gorges

We pick you up from your Marrakech accommodation at 8:00 AM. We head southeast toward the High Atlas Mountains, climbing steadily through changing landscapes. We cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass at 2,260 meters - the highest road pass in Morocco. Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Valley Of The Draa – Ouarzazate

We stop in Rissani, the ancient capital of the Tafilalet region. If it's market day (Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday), we take you through the traditional souk where locals trade livestock and goods. We visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Sharif, birthplace of Morocco's current royal dynasty.

We drive through Alnif and Tazarine, small towns in the Anti-Atlas region. We enter the magnificent Draa Valley - one of Morocco's longest and most beautiful valleys. We stop at viewpoints overlooking the endless palm groves and ancient kasbahs. We follow the old caravan route through Agdz and continue to Ouarzazate.

We arrive in late afternoon with time to visit the impressive Kasbah of Taourirt. We check you into your hotel for dinner and a comfortable night's rest.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech
